Welcome to Falcon Developments.

Falcon Developments is a top performing construction company providing property development, new builds, and refurbishments throughout the Queenstown district.

Our management team and tradesman are highly skilled with an extensive history of remedial and maintenance works both here and in the UK. Developments and sizeable housing stocks such as the Ministry of Defence have all been cared for by me Damian Orman (Founder and Managing Director of Falcon Developments) and my teams with the onus being on a long-term solution.

Our Service is paramount, we aim to resolve any solution swiftly without minimum disruptions to yourselves, clients or occupants. This is achieved by being flexible, committed and dependable.

DAMIAN ORMAN

Director

Damian has 18+ yrs experience working in the construction industry. 7yrs of which are in and around the Queenstown Lakes area.

In that time he has gained experience in a number of fields in the industry such as residential, commercial, exhibition carpentry, shop fitting, Kitchens, bathrooms.
He has developed skills and gained qualifications in this sector such as carpentry, site supervisor, construction site management, LBP, Site-Safe and First Aid to name a few.

Damian has been responsible for coordinating and delivering numerous multi-million-pound contracts to strict timeline requirements, with a labour force in excess 30 trades.
Working with government bodies such as the MOD, NHS, and a number of housing associations as well as direct to private clients.

Having worked in a number of countries he has gained experience in different building methods across nations and the cultural differences of clients. Giving a strong understanding of clients needs and requirements, with solid working relationships.

HENRY BARKER

Site Foreman

Henry began his career in Carpentry in Queenstown in 2011, completing his qualifications alongside a local high-end architectural build company. He has extensive knowledge in residential builds, renovations, and maintenance. From working solo to managing a large team, Henry is capable of taking on any task and loves delivering a high-quality standard of work to our clients.
Henry is a licensed building practitioner and holds current First Aid and Site Safe qualifications.

JESS BURKE

Office Manager

Jess has over 10 years of customer service experience in both New Zealand and Canada. As Office Administrator for Falcon Developments, she acts as a liaison between clients and contractors making sure the lines of communication remain open and service exceeds customer expectations.
Jess is dedicated to the smooth running of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.

Damian was recommended to me and due to the quick turnaround needed for the job I had to enlist his help before even meeting him. However, from the first phone call we had, I felt comfortable that he was the right guy for the job due to his experience and his upfront nature. I told him to go ahead with the job on a charge up basis on that first phone call.

The works were extensive and were larger than initially anticipated. But all the way through Damian communicated very well so there were no nasty surprises at the end. He was meticulous in the detailing and made sure there were no short cuts taken so I wouldn’t have any maintenance issues down the track.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use Damian myself again. I believe him to be honest and to get the job done to a high standard.

Damian, with his onsite foreman David Perez Nanni did a flawless job. The most transparent building project I’ve done with regular detailed progress photos and including photos of problems and issues, not just the ‘good news’. All those little on-site decisions were escalated appropriately and when they just got on with it, were sensible decisions with my best interests in mind. They went to huge effort to juggle overcommitted subcontractors and COVID affected supplies to keep the project on track and as close to time as possible. They also kept incredibly close to a miserly budget and kept me well updated with finances including detailed invoices with all supporting information, so I could budget some of my contingency on ‘nice to haves’.

I’d thoroughly recommend Falcon Developments to get your large or small building project in the Southern Lakes area. They’re a pleasure to deal with and your project will get done right and get done on time.

Damian was a trusted and well respected Site Manager at Property Care who I have known for many years and who I have seen develop from Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, Site Foreman to Site Manager and was part of a team who contributed to the successful delivery of multi-million pound contracts across various construction sectors including MOD, Local Councils, Commercial and private residential contracts.

Damian was responsible and  instrumental in the delivery of multiple contracts, ensuring the quality of workmanship on all sites, all aspects of service delivery being maintained, key performance targets being achieved, programming deadlines being met, budget control and on-site Client relationships maintained to high levels at all times whilst ensuring the  Clients expectations are exceeded.

Have always found Damian to be a committed and thorough professional who is able to contribute with his knowledge, trade skills, and excellent communication skills at all levels of the contract process and who fully understands the complex processes involved in delivering a small or large scale multi-site contract within budget.
